Each year, BOGS organizes a myriad of social events. We do this because they're fun, but also because they promote developing support systems with other students and getting to know the faculty on a more personal level. Feel free to drop-by for a few minutes, or stay for a few hours! These events are highly informal, include faculty, students and their families (even pets!), and are all posted ahead of time on this page and through email.

Besides weekly BioBeer and Tuesday Coffee, our special events includes, BioBall , BioWeen , the Camping Retreat , the Wine and Cheese , holiday party and various other fun activities that we plan along the way. We hope that in addition to working hard on your thesis, you'll take some time to have fun and join us for some events.
