Friday Informal Seminar Hour (F.I.S.H)

What: Weekly seminar organized by the biology graduate students.
Where: Fifth Floor Lounge, Biology Department, LSC Building (For Fall 2020: Online)
When: Friday at 3:30pm

FISH consists of a fairly informal graduate student or faculty presentation each week. These usually run the spectrum from research project, photos and field work adventures, to whatever else they feel like ranting about!

The presentation is followed by a question/discussion period, and wrapped-up with BioBeer.

We encourage both students and faculty to attend these seminars!

EXIT FISH
These are special FISH reserved for graduate students who recently defended or defending within a few months. The purpose of this is to allow them to talk about their overall experience in graduate school and to provide advice to current students at different levels of their graduate careers

** If you are interested in giving a FISH seminar, please get in contact with one of our FISH coordinators!
